International Standards for Testing Review

The purpose of the International Standard for Testing (IST) is to plan for effective testing and to maintain the integrity and identity of samples, from notifying the athlete to transporting samples for analysis as well as handling whereabouts information and missed tests.

The revision of International Standards, as well as the development and consultation of guidelines, and symposia outcomes, are important for the continual improvement of worldwide anti-doping programs. Drug Free Sport NZ has provided submissions to WADA as part of the ongoing review of International Standards. These submissions can be viewed below - as can the current reviewed version of the International Standard provided by WADA.
