PROHIBITED LIST AND DRUG FREE SPORT NZ SCHEDULE
The New Zealand Sports Drug Agency Act requires the Agency to develop and circulate a Schedule of prohibited drugs and prohibited methods having regard to the list developed by the World Anti-Doping Agency.
From 2004 the International Prohibited List has been the sole responsibility of WADA. As a signatory to the Code the Agency has been required to adopt this list, however additional explanatory notes about its application in the New Zealand setting remain necessary. The Drug Free Sport NZ Schedule of Drug and Doping Methods recognises the current World Anti-Doping Code Prohibited List with some additional provisions.
