What happens in a sports drug test?

NOTIFICATION

• A drug testing official may approach an athlete immediately after competing, at training* or at home*. 
  
• The athlete is informed that they are required to provide a sample.
• The athlete is required to keep within the full sight of the notifying official.
  
• The athlete can ask for a representative such as a parent, a coach or friend attend while the process is completed.
• Certain activities are permitted provided the athlete discusses them with the official.
